Overview

Adderall 5 mg is a medicine that is used for treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) behavioral problems. The medicine is responsible for decreasing hyperactivity and impulsivity and increasing attention in an individual. It was approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) in the year 2002. The half-life of Adderall 5 mg is 10 to 14 hours when people take this medicine for the treatment of ADHD.

Dosages:

Adults and children above 6 years of age are taking Adderall 5 mg medicine for the treatment of ADHD symptoms. The availability of this drug is in the form of immediate-release oral tablet only. Other dosages such as 10 mg, 30 mg, 12.5 mg, 20 mg and 15 mg are also used in the treatment of this disorder.
