It is in oval shape and white color and comes in the form of oral pill, tablet, capsule and oral solution. The starting recommended dose of this medicine is 5 mg. A patient can take 1 tablet in every 4 to 6 hours once a day, and the maximum dose depends on the patient’s conditions.
In case, someone is experiencing too much pain, they can take 6 tablets in every 4 hours as a maximum dose which is suggested by a doctor.
High doses of Hydrocodone can cause respiratory depression, and in the worst cases, can cause death.
