Overview
Paxil 25 mg is used in treating the symptoms of anxiety disorders, depression and panic attacks. Its active ingredient is Paroxetine Hydrochloride. This anti-anxiety medicine is a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval drug.
Ingredients: Titanium dioxide, glyceryl behenate, magnesium stearate, talc, red ferric oxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide and other ingredients are available in this drug.
Drug Interactions: This medicine interacts with several medicinal drugs, which include Argatroban, Pipamperone, Bufexamac, Celecoxib, Scopolamine, Oxaprozin, Doxepin, etc.
Dosages:
The PAXIL CR 25 is the medium dosage strength of the extended-release tablet of this drug. This dosage is used in treating depression and anxiety symptoms in adults only. A 2.5 mg, 37.5 mg and 50 mg of this form are also used in the treatment.
This drug is not suggested for children. If any child suffers from the symptoms of depression and anxiety, then their parent or any family member must contact with the doctor.

People who suffer from these problems can take Paxil 25 mg tablet. This drug works as the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) in the brain. It increases serotonin levels in the Central Nervous System (CNS), which helps in improving the mood and relieves stress and anxiety in the person.

- Agitation (severe anxiety)

Precautions:
- Taking this medicine is strictly prohibited at the time of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Women must consult with a doctor immediately if experiencing these problems.
- After taking Paxil 25 mg, the consumption of alcohol is not safe for an individual. It damages the person’s body, which is dangerous for his or her health.
- Call the doctor immediately if suffering from muscle pain, stomach pain and other problems.
- A person must take doctor’s advice before taking Paxil 25 mg.
- Using this medicine with other medicinal drugs will lower blood pressure. However, an individual should not take this medicine with other medicinal drugs.
- Stop taking this medicine when suffering from allergies, glaucoma etc.
- A person must take rest after taking Paxil 25 mg. Driving or performing activities can cause dizziness after using this drug.
