Overview

Opana ER (extended-release) is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic drug. It contains Oxymorphone Hydrochloride as an active ingredient, which is also a generic variant of the branded medication Opana ER 7.5 mg. Oxymorphone is an opioid agonist, which is a Schedule II controlled substance drug that indicates that it has a high potential for drug addiction, abuse, and misuse. The formulation of Oxymorphone is similar to Morphine.

Opana pill works effectively with its therapeutic action in the brain. The exact mechanism is still unknown of this drug.
