Gabapentin 1200 mg is an FDA-approved medicine that treats partial seizures (epilepsy) and neuropathic pain in individuals. Epilepsy is a problem that occurs due to stiffness in muscles, fear, anxiety, etc. The symptoms of neuropathic pain are dysesthesia, allodynia, hyperalgesia, insomnia, and hypoalgesia which causes diabetes, HIV/AIDS, stroke, and other medical problems in patients.

There are several other inactive ingredients that are used in Gabapentin 1200 mg. These include sodium lauryl sulfate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, mannitol, black edible ink, talc, and gelatin.
Gabapentin doses Instructions:
The dosage strength of 1200 mg of Gabapentin medicine is used in the treatment of epilepsy in adults and children from 3 to 11 years of age and postherpetic neuralgia in adults only. It is in the form of an oral capsule. Other dosages of gabapentin such as 300 mg, 100 mg, 600 mg, 400 mg, 800 mg, and 1600 mg are also available in treating these problems.
This drug is not suggested for children below 3 years of age. A child’s parent or guardian must consult with a doctor when they are suffering from epilepsy condition.
When any child below 18 years of age is suffering from neuropathic pain, then their family member must contact with healthcare provider for the treatment of this problem.

Precautions:
- Do not take more than one tablet of Gabapentin 1200 mg medicine at the same time.
- Taking this medicine is strictly prohibited without taking the doctor’s advice.
- An individual when taking Gabapentin 1200 mg for the treatment, must not use antacid medicine within 2 hours.
- Avoid driving a vehicle or performing other tasks after taking this medicine. This medicine causes drowsiness, which becomes risky at the time of driving.

- An individual must swallow this medicine with a glass of water. A bitter taste can occur after crushing or chewing the tablet of Gabapentin 1200 mg medicine.
