Ambien medicine contains several inactive ingredients. These include polyethylene glycol, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate, titanium dioxide, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, etc. It also contains an active ingredient called Zolpidem Tartrate. This ingredient is sparingly soluble in propylene glycol, water and alcohol.

Dosages:

Ambien 10 mg tablet is used in treating the symptoms that occur due to insomnia in adult patients only. The form of this drug is an immediate-release oral tablet. The dosage strength of 5 mg of this drug is also available for the treatment.
