Ambien medicine contains several inactive ingredients. These include polyethylene glycol, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate, titanium dioxide, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, etc. It also contains an active ingredient called Zolpidem Tartrate. This ingredient is sparingly soluble in propylene glycol, water and alcohol.
