Drug Mechanism
From pancreatic beta cell, insulin is released by this tablet and from this it enhances the secretion of insulin and develops the glucose uptake in peripheral tissue. Sulfonylurea (SUR1) receptor is attached to this drug on the pancreatic beta cell, and due to this the KTP channel is blocked.
