Dose & Strength of Dosage of Sonata Medicine:

Sleeping pill sonata drug is available in the form of oral capsule with the following dosage strengths: 5 mg (opaque green cap with opaque pale green body) and 10 mg (opaque green cap with opaque light green body).

Dose For Adults:-

The advised initial dose starts with 10 mg for middle-aged adults. The maximum sonata dosage for adults recommended by doctors is 20 mg.

Dose For Geriatric:-

A 5 mg dose is for those individuals who have less body mass, such as geriatric individuals. The maximum dose is 10 mg, and more than that dosage strength is not suggested by a healthcare provider.

The administration of the medicine is suggested by a doctor. Based on the patient’s medical condition and age the sonata dosage can be increased or decreased. The initial dose is 5 mg for hepatic and renal disorders. It is recommended to take this medication before or after going to bed.
