Vicodin is a combination of an opioid drug and a non-opioid pain drug. The nonopioid drug is acetaminophen and the opioid pain drug is hydrocodone. Vicodin 7.5/750 mg comes in a white oval shape with an E S imprint. It is a generic drug that is used to treat moderate to severe pain in individuals.

The starting recommended dose for adult, of the Vicodin drug is one or two tablets every 4 or 6 hours. The maximum dose of this drug is suggested to take 1 tablet which is also taken every 4 to 6 hours in a day.

The medicine stays active in the body for up to 4 hours for relaxing moderate to severe pain. The tablets of Vicodin are suggested taking in every four to six hours. The doses must be adjusted by the doctors or physician as per the patient’s condition.
